There are a lot of things that you can practice over a periodic time if you wish to keep your succulent healthy. It must be noted that a succulent is not your natural rose petal plant, it does not require that much care and attention. Giving it care and attention can actually make it die sooner than you can actually think. It does not require daily watering, daily fertilizing, and care and love. Succulents are the species of the desert, and they are used to being rough and tough. There are some things that if you keep in mind while living with a succulent. 1. You need to make sure that accurate heat and temperature needs are fulfilled. You must leave your succulent in sunlight for a couple of hours daily.
2. Never ever cover your plant with plastic sheets. Plastic films and plastic sheets tend to divert the light and protect the entity that is underneath them. It would tend to protect the succulent as well, but it would end up doing more harm than good
3. Always remember to use ceramic succulent pot for your plants. These pots have many holes in them, thus, ensuring that the water does not stay in the pan.
4. Never ever tend to water the succulent while having them fertilized on the same day. Over-protection kills the succulent plants. Additionally, you only need to feed the succulent once or twice a month. They also need to get watered after 2-3 days. It is hugely alright if you forget to water them as well.
5. If you see your succulents’ leaves getting yellowish, spare them instantly. You might need to use spirit or alcohol swabs to remove the infection from your succulent.
